Apart from state-run national Building Construction Company and Singapore-based Cube Highways, Kotak Investment, L&T Infrastructure and Suraksha Group are understood to have shown interest in taking over debt-ridden Jaypee Infratech. The company is facing bankruptcy proceedings in the National Company Law Tribunal. Jaypee Infratech's Interim Resolution Professional had in October initiated a fresh initiative to revive the company.

Meanwhile, with the highest bid of Rs 1.62 crore, Jai Prakash Associates has won the co-branding right for the Pari Chowk Station on the Noida-Greater Noida Metro Rail Corridor. The co-branding rights for two other stations, Noida Sector 137 and Alpha 1, have been given to Independent New Services Private Limited and Tauras Financial Services Private Limited, respectively.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) will hand over 5,008 residential plots in December under the 2009 Residential Plot Scheme 1 in Sectors 18 and 20, after a four-year delay. An additional 5,128 plots will be delivered by March next year.

Giving the embattled realtor the last chance, the Supreme Court on November 20 asked Amrapali Group to reveal by December 3 the details of all its properties in India and abroad, and comply with each and every direction passed by the court since May last year.

The Odisha government will build houses for all the 13,000 families, whose homes were destroyed during cyclone Titli under the Biju Pucca Ghar Scheme. The houses will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 176 crore.
