#RealtyNewsRoundup: Govt To Construct Aviation Hub Near Jewar Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) on May 4 said that the state government plans to construct an aviation hub near the upcoming Jewar airport. The aviation hub is expected to provide world-class facilities to flyers using the airport. Meanwhile, the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration is expected to start taking possession of the land acquired for the airport next week. The authority has already compensated the farmers for this.

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has announced that it will focus on projects that are under stress and stalled. The authority has identified nearly 70 such projects across Mumbai, Pune and Thane. The authority will reach out to the members of such project and guide them to form an association for the completion.

Indiabulls Housing, the lender of Shree Ram Mills’ Palais Royale, has set a sale price of Rs 782 crore for the seven-acre project located at Worli Naka. Indiabulls plans to recover loan worth Rs 600 crore from the sale of the project, which has been stuck for over a decade.

Lenders and homebuyers have voted against the bid filed by Suraksha Realty to take over debt-laden Jaypee Infratech. Apart from Suraksha Realty, NBCC and Adani Group have shown interest in acquiring the beleaguered developer.
