The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) on May 4 said that the state government plans to construct an aviation hub near the upcoming Jewar airport. The aviation hub is expected to provide world-class facilities to flyers using the airport. Meanwhile, the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration is expected to start taking possession of the land acquired for the airport next week. The authority has already compensated the farmers for this.

The authority has identified nearly 70 such projects across Mumbai, Pune and Thane. The authority will reach out to the members of such project and guide them to form an association for the completion.
