The Haryana Cabinet has approved the final Haryana (Regulation and Development) Rules, 2017, saying that the Central Act has not been diluted. The only change made pertains to the definition of an ongoing project.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has given the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) three days to file a status report on Phase-I of the clearing of encroachments and illegal constructions in the Yamuna floodplains. The tribunal also questioned the Delhi government why the lake at Purana Qila was drained, and directed it to submit a report on the same.

The Centre has given an in-principle approval for developing an airport in Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh. This is the second airport in UP to be approved by the Centre after Yogi Adityanath took charge over as the state's chief minister.

State housing body MHADA will soon file charges against developers, who have not shared apartments with it despite having availed of incentives from the government for the redevelopment of dilapidated buildings across Mumbai localities such as Colaba, Sion and Mahim.
