Availability of skilled manpower in Bengaluru attracts many e-commerce companies to the city. This creates a positive impact on the commercial real estate market here thus encouraging developers to build more to cater to the additional demand for residential property.

In 2015, Flipkart contracted around 1.2 million sq ft office space in Embassy tech village.  Apart from this, Amazon, too, leased around 1.2 million sq ft of office space . With e-commerce giants stepping into the city, housing at affordable rates in micro-markets such as Whitefield comes as no big surprise.

As per a leading research firm, it is estimated that the e-commerce sector will create approximately 50,000 jobs in the next three years. Bengaluru benefited the most from this e-commerce ecosystem. This is attracting a large number of working population to the city positively impacting the housing sector.

Whitefield's Seamless Connectivity

Whitefield is well connected to different parts of Bengaluru. Whitefield road and Varthur Road (HAL Old Airport Road) makes commuting easier for the residents. These two roads meet with Karnataka State Highway 35 (SH 35) . Whitefield Railway Station is easily accessible.  Moreover, the suburb is well facilitated with bus services and will soon enjoy the benefits of Namma Metro Project service. This smooth connectivity creates a positive impact on the housing sector. As a result, the demand for apartments and plots in Whitefield witness an increase.

Real Estate in Whitefield

Real estate in Whitefield has been positively impacted by the entrance of prominent companies such as Molex India Pvt. Ltd., IBM Global Service, Manhattan Associates India and Mphasis. This has encouraged developers such as Green Manshion Group, PR Builders Group and Goyal and Co Hariyana Group to come up with apartments in Whitefield meeting the increasing demand for residential projects. At present, there are around 496 projects in Whitefield. Out of this,  362 are ready to move in, 94 are under construction and 33 will be launching soon.
