Indian billionaires live an extravagant lifestyle and it reflects in the real estate they own, especially their private houses or residential properties. These adobes are equipped with all the luxuries of the world and living in them are some of the biggest names from various industries.

PropGuide lists seven such most expensive homes of Indian billionaires which have been hitting the headlines worldwide:  Mukesh Ambani | Antilia

Antilia is the private residential property of Reliance Industries' chairman Mukesh Ambani. It is named after a mythical island in the Atlantic Ocean and was designed by Chicago-based architects Perkins and Will. The 27-storey building was constructed by Australia-based company Leighton Holdings. The iconic 400,000 sq ft high-rise building is situated at the Altamount Road in Mumbai. The construction, which can withstand an eight-richter scale earthquake, has a parking space for 168 cars, a health spa, plenty of swimming pools, a yoga studio, nine elevators and three helipads on the roof. It takes a staff of 600 to maintain this billionaire's abode. Antilia tops the list of the most expensive homes in the world. Shah Rukh Khan | Mannat

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's dream home Mannat is believed to be one of the most expensive homes in India. The six-storey sea-facing building is situated at Bandra in Mumbai.  It was originally called Villa Vienna, when Shah Rukh Khan purchased this 26,328 sq ft property on lease. Later, he renamed this property to Mannat, which is now one of the most-favoured tourist spot in Mumbai. The house is equipped with elevators, a lounge area and two living rooms. The interiors are known to be decked up with antiques and other artefacts. It also houses a private bar, a library and an entertainment area. Dilip Shanghvi | Shantam

Founder and managing director of Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dilip Shanghvi is one of the richest businessmen in India. He is one the rare billionaires who love to have a modest lifestyle. His Mumbai abode is relatively an ordinary house in the suburbs of Juhu, but his house in Surat, Gujarat is a stroke of genius. It has been developed by Matharoo Associates but unlike other billionaire homes, Shanghvi's home is not stuffed with classic accessories and antiques. The home has been given a contemporary look, beyond the traditional architectural principle. He believes in living a life king-size, and it shows in the style of homes he has bought over time. His Bungalow No 22 at Aurangzeb Road in Delhi is one of the expensive residential property he owns. The grand property is surrounded by many foreign embassies and is just a little away from the Birla's house. How can we forget Vijay Mallya, when talking about Indian billionaires? Once a flamboyant business tycoon and now an absconder, Mallya has been famous for his larger-than-life luxurious lifestyle. This lifestyle reflects in each of his properties, too. White House in Sky at Kingfisher Towers is one of the costliest house owned by an Indian businessman. The 4.5-acre ancestral home has been brought down to build this 34-storeyed high-rise building. Situated at the UB City, Bengaluru, the project consists of a total of 82 apartments, where only 72 will be up for sale. The remaining 10 apartments will be split among Mallya's family members. White House in Sky is the beautiful penthouse, located on the 33rd and the 34th floors of the building spread across a huge one-acre land. The upcoming penthouse will be split in to two levels, which will have unique features including a wine cellar, an indoor-heated pool, salon, and an outdoor infinity pool and spa. The roof of the penthouse will also have a helipad.

Anil Ambani | Abode

Anil Ambani's new home Abode located at Pali Hill in Mumbai, is currently under construction. It is believed to be one of the most expensive houses in India. The 17-storey building was originally going planned to be 150-metre high, but was later cut down to 66 metre by the authorities. It is said that after the  house is fully-constructed, the Ambani brothers will own the world's two most costliest homes in the world.          Gautam Singhania | JK House

Chairman and managing director of the Raymond Group, Gautam Singhania's JK House is going to be a 37-storey building, standing 145-metre high. It will be known as the second tallest residential property after Ambani's Antilia, once constructed. It will be equipped with all the luxurious amenities including a private swimming pool, a gym, a spa, a six-level car parking, extensive apartments, a helipad and a special museum floor.
