Auditors, who were earlier directed to go through the books of embattled Amrapali Group by the country’s top court, have told the Supreme Court the realtors diverted Rs 3,000 crore of homebuyers’ money.  For this purpose, the realtor set up over 100 shell companies, the auditors told the apex court in their final report.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has slapped an interim penalty of Rs 10 crore on three builders in Gurgaon for violation of environmental norms. The green panel imposed the environmental compensation on Ansal Buildwell, and its sister concern Aadharshila Towers and Rigoss Estate Networks while directing them to deposit the amount with the Central Pollution Control Board within a month.

The Delhi international airport has raised Rs 2,000 crore from real estate monetisation to expand itself. The country's busiest airport currently handles about 62 million passengers per annum against an installed capacity of 60 million, and 1.5 million tonne of cargo.

The traffic department in Pune has decided to launch smart signals in the city to deal with congestion on city roads. These smart traffic signals will turn green or read depending on the kind of traffic that is seen on a particular road. Work on the project may start in two weeks.
