The Greater Noida authority has set a target of delivering 10,000 flats to homebuyers by December-end. The move comes after the state government directed the authority to take effective steps to ensure that developers deliver flats in stuck housing projects without further delay.

The forensic auditors examining the books of embattled realtor Amrapali have told the Supreme Court that the amount received by the company from the buyers was always higher than the project cost. Meanwhile, the builder has now been accused of cheating the Supreme Court as the company withheld names of 16 former directors of its group companies.

In a major relief to Unitech, the Hyderabad High Court has ordered the Telangana government and the Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC), to pay Rs 660 crore as compensation within four weeks. The matter relates to development of a land parcel in the Ranga Reddy district for which Unitech successfully bid.
