Indians are not as happy in 2019 as they were in 2018, with the country registering a seven-spot drop to claim the 140th place in this year's UN World Happiness Report. According to the report, which saw Finland claiming the top spot for the second year in a row, the overall world happiness has fallen over the past few years, which has mostly been fueled by a sustained drop in India.

Authorities in Hong Kong, the third most expensive city to live in the world, plan to invest a whopping $79 billion to build one of the world’s largest artificial islands. The government will reclaim 2,471 acres of land around the territory’s largest island, Lantau, to address housing shortage in the city.

Noise pollution beyond prescribed norms was a serious punishable crime, said the Delhi Bench of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) on March 20, and directed the police to map such hot-spots and put in place a surveillance mechanism for taking strict action against violators.
