The Regional Rapid Transit System, which is being launched by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited in various parts of the national capital region, will be connected with the Delhi Metro network. The three corridors ─ Delhi to Meerut, Delhi to Panipat and Delhi to Alwar ─ will connect the national capital with the outskirts of the region. All the three RRTS will converge at Sarai Kale Khan, and will be inter-operable.

Suraksha and Dosti, the companies that have emerged as the top contender to take over ailing Jaypee Infratech, have estimated that nearly Rs 2,000 crore is required to complete work in 250 towers in Jaypee Wishtown. Additionally, nearly Rs 3,750 crore dues will be collected from homebuyers to finish the project, taking the total funding to about Rs 6,000 crore. The two partners say they would complete the projects of the beleaguered company that have been stuck for over a decaude now.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation will now be sending individual property tax bill, in place of sending a consolidated bill to housing societies. Typically, residents’ welfare associations of housing societies collect property tax from members and deposit it with the municipal body. However, the new rule would apply to only buildings, which have received an occupation certificate after April 2018.

The Haryana government has ordered a probe into alleged illegal sale of 46 acres of panchayat land in two villages in Gurgaon to private builders. The state government ordered the probe based on a complaint received by the Chief Minister's Grievance Cell. The complainant had alleged that 46 acres of panchayat land in Gairatpur and Raisina villages, situated at the foothills of the Aravallis in the Gurgaon district, was sold to private builders.
