Tamil Nadu slum clearance board will build 23,476 tenements and individual houses in the FY 2016-17. The slum clearance board will build 7,204 multi-storey tenements and 16,272 individual houses for the economically weaker sections. Every unit in a multi-storey tenement will have 400 square feet space, and every individual house will have a space of 300 square feet. Read more.

NGT asks for details of persons/builders who violate dust-emission restrictions

The National Green Tribunal has asked the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Noida Authority and other departments about the details of builders and persons that did not pay penalty, despite being challaned for violating dust-emission norms. Centre will allot land for four industrial cities in DMIC

The central government will allot land for four industrial cities in Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), a large infrastructure project built with financial and technical aid from Japan, from October onwards. Noida Authority issues notices to 22 industrial plot owners

The Noida Authority issued notices to 22 industrial plot owners that defaulted on the payment of lease rents. The civic body said their lease deeds will be cancelled if they do not make the payment within a month. About 200 allottees have to pay Rs 445 crore to the Noida Authority.  Read more.
