The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP-RERA) has deregistered Unnati Fortune Holdings’ Noida-based project Aranya Phase 3, 4 and 5 over “severe financial irregularities, diversion and siphoning off funds”. Located at Sector 119, the project is valued at Rs 1,500 crore.

The financial creditors of debt-laden Jaypee Infra are likely to meet on May 30 to evaluate the revised takeover bid of state-run NBCC. The creditors include as many as 13 banks and 23,000 buyers, who have invested in various projects of the troubled realtor.

Citing the hardships faced in the commute, citizens have demanded that a connecting bridge be built to link Sector 51 Station of Noida Metro's Aqua Line with the nearby Blue Line of the Delhi Metro. At present, commuters have to exit at Sector 51 Station and walk nearly 200 metre on an under-construction road to take the Blue Line at Sector 52 station. The 29.7-km Aqua Line runs between Sector 51 and Depot stations.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has invited the Bombay High Court ire over weak strength of green members in its tree authority. The HC questioned the BMC why there were several corporators on the tree board while only few expert members.
