State-owned construction company National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) said it had secured businesses worth Rs 1,900.79 crore in May. In its regulatory filing, the NBCC said that it had secured some big-ticket projects, including the redevelopment of exhibition centre of the International Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) for Rs 2,149 crore and the AIIMS redevelopment work worth Rs 5,828 crore, in the past one year. Read more

Realty developer Kanakia Group has acquired a 2.5-acre land parcel in the Kanjurmarg suburb of Mumbai from Windsor Realty for Rs 125 crore. The land parcel used to house a factory of battery-manufacturer Exide Industries until it was bought by Windsor Realty to develop a premium residential project. Read more
