Sarjapur Road Till Wipro is located in the South East part of Bangalore and is one of the developed IT hubs in the city. It is one of the most rapidly developing parts of Bangalore and is situated within close proximity to IT cluster areas like Electronic City, Whitefield, Silk Board, Outer Ring Road, Marathalli and Koramangala. Sarjapur Road is a prime stretch that connects the Outer Ring Road, Hosur, Madiwala and its neighbourhood. The Kempegowda Bus Station is about 15 kilometres from Sarjapur while the International Airport (BIAL) is about 50 kilometres away. The Karmelaram Railway Station is also located close to Sarjapur Road.
The 4-lane Sarjapur road starts at the St. Johns Hospital located on Hosur Road and passes through Agara Lake, First Block linking the Outer Ring Road at Agara Park. The Satellite Town Ring Road will be 284 kilometres and will connect important satellite towns like Dobbspet, Gudemaranahalli, Doddaballapur, Anekal, Devanahalli, Sarjapur, Sulibele, Hoskote, Kanakapura, Magad and Attibele.
Namma Metro is geared up for phases 2A and 3. Under Phase , the Gottigere-Nagavara line of Phase 2, a distance of 23.37 kilometres will extend till the international airport. Another 33-kilometre line will connect Yelahanka in North and Sarjapur in southeast under Phase 3. This phase will cover the Outer Ring Road by the metro network with the proposed line from Hebbal to Bannerghatta road via Bannerghatta Road, Ganapathi Temple, Central Silk Board and back to Hebbal.
