The central government may come out with another round of disinvestment. To raise as much as Rs 2,000 crore, the government for the first time plans (initial public offerings) IPOs of Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency and Housing & Urban Development Corporation. State-owned construction firm National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) reported a six per cent annual increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 141.48 crore for the quarter ended March 31. The net profit stood at Rs 133.63 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a regulatory filing. Read more

The new airport at Kishangarh, which is being developed to cater to the historical city of Ajmer in Rajasthan, is likely to be become operational by July, 2017.
