All About Huda Group Housing Scheme 2017

The Haryana Urban Development Authority (Huda) has formulated its Group Housing-2017 to allot residential plots to various income groups in the urban areas of the cities including Gurgaon, Ambala, Bahadurgarh, Dadri, Faridabad, Hisar, Jagadhri, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Rewari, Rohtak and Sonipat to name a few. These plots will be allotted to the eligible cooperative group housing societies or welfare housing organisations through e-auction from June 15. The reserve prices will be fixed as collector rates or 80 per cent of the market rates, whichever is higher.

How to apply?

Interested individuals, organisation, housing societies, and welfare housing organisations can sign up here and obtain user ID and password for the bidding process. The bidders are required to pay the security amount and e-service fee online.  Here are the steps to create a sign in on Huda website:

  • Log in to HUDA Procurement Portal and go to the main portal.
  • Click the sign-up button where you can see the following page.
  • Fill in the necessary details and submit it
  • The login details can be used for participating in e-Auction event.
  • While logging in, feed in the client as Haryana Urban Development Authority.
  • After successful login, the bidder will be redirected to the dashboard which is divided into two sections — Current Events and Awarded. Current event will display the live auction. Awarded/Open section will list the details of the bidders and bid after the auction is concluded.

    Who can apply?

    Co-operative group housing societies, welfare housing groups with a minimum of twenty members can apply under Huda Group Housing Scheme 2017. The housing societies have to get register at the portal. The successful cooperative groups will be required to deposit 10 per cent of its bid amount along with the self-attested copies of PAN Card, Passport-sized photos of the signatory, certified copies of the resolution of the cooperative society, along with the certified copies of bylaws.

    Other terms and conditions

  • Any person can become a member of a maximum five co-operative societies. However, he/she can retain membership of only one successful society in the auction.
  • A member can have only one flat/share in a society.
  • A member should not own any house, flat, plot in his/her name or in the name of his or her spouse or dependent children in the same urban estate of Huda in which he or she is applying for membership
  • Only organisations with Indian residents as members are eligible to apply
