Bollywood actors are among the best-paid working professionals in India. This is a reason why they heavily invest in property markets. We examine the property investments of some actors who have yet to turn 30.

This 23-year old recently bought a plush Rs 9 crore home at Juhu and shares it with her sister, Shaheen. The house is a birthday gift the Highway actor bought for herself, and maintains that while she wanted to move out, she didn't want to go too far away from her parent's house. Therefore, the two homes are in the vicinity. Her little apartment overlooks Sanjay Plaza, while her dad's place is in Silver Beach Apartments.
The design: Filmmaker Vikas Bahl's wife Richa is the designer behind Alia's new home. She says Alia wanted a home minus all the glamour of Bollywood. Therefore, her home is a mix of muted yet warm tones, simple wall hangings, indi-chic cushions, a good bar space and a lot of storage space for her couture.
Shraddha Kapoor
The 30-year old has finally bought her new pad at Juhu and we are assuming that it is priced within Rs 10 crore. However, dreamy-eyed Ms Kapoor is in no hurry to shift to her new address. Reportedly, this Kapoor family is very close-knit and Shraddha wants to reserve this home for professional reasons such as dress fittings, meetings or movie sittings as well as for her mom, Shivangi's music classes.
The design: In her words: “If you open the doors of the bedrooms, it seems like one beautiful, airy apartment which gives out really positive vibes.” Looks like it is the perfect place for a youngster to unwind.
Parineeti Chopra
Twenty nine-year-old Parineeti Chopra saw almost 30 houses before finalising on the one she has bought at Bandra. This sea-facing property at Quantum Park is estimated to be worth about Rs 22 crore. So this home is as is Chopra herself.
The design: It has got lots of green in terms of plant that spike the beauty of the décor. Besides, there are two rooms meant solely for entertainment, a makeup room, walls embellished with covers of books she has been reading over the years, and walls that look having been dedicated to music too. The quirk-factor is high.
Taapsee Pannu
The 29-year-old actor has zeroed in on a 2BHK apartment at Oshiwara and expects possession late this year. Her home search has been tedious but living on rent was not easy either, given that most landlords are wary of renting out their properties to celebs. Speaking to Mid-day she says: ““People have preconceived notions about single women who are actresses. I don't drink or smoke. I go to sleep by 11 pm. These are my choices. But, no one should have to apologise for his or her way of life.”
Everyone wants to know what this actor has paid for her property but she is hush-hush about it. However, we can tell you that 2BHK apartments in this locality can go up to Rs 4 crore. However, given celebs and their lifestyle, Pannu would have certainly had to pay more.

Sonam Kapoor
At 30, the actress splurged Rs 30 crore for a plush possession at Bandra. It is a 7000-sqft apartment at Signature Island.
The design: Just like the name, the residence boasts a signature style – it is two storied, boasts an in-built jacuzzi, open architecture, a walk-in-closet and some of the top industrialists as neighbours. Reports suggest that her home is paparazzi-proof given that it overlooks some of the top hotels and the American Consulate. Who has designed her home? Her aunt Kavita, a well-known designer.
