Know the office where you need to file the grievance and ask the neighbours about the process and time taken by the authorities for the redressal of the same.

Community Development Programs- Community development programs include construction and development of community halls, libraries, charitable dispensaries, public toilets, hospitals and other such institutions for combined use by general public belonging to that area. Emergency Situations- You will also want to know the facilities that are made available in the society to help families in emergency situations such as flood, earthquake, etc.

Welfare Programmes- Societies sometimes also arrange programs for the welfare of children, elderly peopleof the societies. It may include entertainment programs, spiritual programs, vocational studies, etc. Also, they may organize lectures by expert teams of doctors, art of living and other such groups. Know about these and be a part of these.

You should also know about RWA fees and donations and the procedure of payment. Societies also publish books and magazines for the promotion, protection and advancement of the residents.
