Rajasthan becomes the first Indian state to submit its annual action plan for the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) . The state government has proposed projects worth Rs 1,087 crore for approval by the Union Ministry of Urban Development. AMRUT was launched in June this year, to focus on offering basic infrastructure services including complete coverage of water supply and sewerage for all urban households. Read more.
